Not Me! Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

This week, I did not correct several little old ladies about the gender of my daughter. I also did not grumble under my breath that it is hard to mistake a boy for wearing hair bows.

(Guess the blue gave "her" away as a boy)

I also did not feed my daughter lunch by letting her play with a piece of mango in a fresh feeder so that I could clean the kitchen before company came over! I sat down with her and fed her by spoon, and my kitchen miraculously cleaned itself. Must have been those cleaning fairies I payed for!

I went to a birthday party this week, and I am very proud to say, I did not take home enough birthday cake for 2 people, and eat part of hubby's "half"!

Were you perfect this week, too?! Please share!

  1. You have cleaning fairies too? I thought they just came to my house. My cleaning fairy is named Aaron (hehehe, love my husband!!).

  2. My daughter was bald, bald, bald until 2. Most people thought she was a boy, even when she was wearing pink. I think that it has made me more sensitive to people's babies when I am unsure of the gender.

  3. Birthday cake...very bad. I never understood why paople called my princess a boy...even when in head to toe pink.

  4. My very chunky son wearing green, maroon, navy blue with a football sewn on his shirt was NEVER mistaken for a girl!

  5. hmmm yes she's looking very masculine in that pink bow. i swear it's like old lady entertainment to mess with mom's with babies and intentionally refer to the as the wrong gender.
my husband made me get rid of an outfit when my oldest was called a girl. you know the red, blue and green trucks, with green (and Johnn Dear green, not that baby green) were apparently too feminine.

stopping by from MckMama's and I <3 your blog!!!
